Pick Up and Drop Off

Morning Drop-Off Procedures:

Arlington Street is a BUS LOADING ZONE ONLY.

There is NO PARKING on Arlington Street between the hours of 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The side streets near Garfield allow for some parking.

DO NOT  use the alley off the 29th and directly across from the school as a drop off/pick up area.

DO NOT  stop in the middle of the street to drop your child off.

Children should be dropped off in the drop off area on the east side of the building and proceed to the playground and line up or go in the door labeled 5E for breakfast.

In case of inclement weather, the 2nd – 5th grade students may  enter the door labeled 5E off of the playground to wait in the hallway beginning at 7:45 a.m.  Kdg – 1st grade students may enter the door labeled 7E to wait in their designated areas.

Supervision on the playground begins at 7:45 a.m.  Children should not be dropped off before this time unless they are eating breakfast.

Children eating breakfast should be dropped off in the drop off area and proceed to the door on the right side of the building (5E) and enter to the cafeteria.

Afternoon Pick-up Procedures:

If you are using the student drop-off/pick-up area on the east side of the building, DO NOT  leave you car unattended.  Wait for your child to find you and then exit to 29th street.

There are a limited number of parking spaces directly adjacent to the grassy area off of the alley on the east side of the building.

Please set a good example of safety for your children by remembering to cross at the crosswalk ONLY on 29th Street.
